I'm posting my intro as a separate thread because things seem to be rather quiet around here and the last post I see in this thread is from a few years ago....
So hi! I'm a rambling bramble bear. I'm from New York but have been many places and will be many more. I always enjoyed science class back in grade school and have been mediocre at it. In the future I would like to get a degree in some sort of (applied?) science.
When I'm not science-ing I enjoy everything about music and (vegetarian friendly) food and First Nation culture.
I would also like to mention that there's a great "cult" (forum group) on VampireFreaks called ScienceWorld that you may be interested in. It's about everything related to all aspects of science (and math!). There's news and discussions, forum games and contests.
The sibling cult to that is Opensouria_Internetion which is about all things related to technology, copyright/etc laws, GNU/Linux & other OSes, open source software and hardware, hacks/mods/DIY... you name it.
